“Well worth a visit” you have spoken again – thank you all!
“We moored on the canal about 15min walk to the shopping village, hoping to get breakfast and not being too sure what to expect from the shops. We had a lovely breakfast in 1867, (restaurant, not year), and then had a wander round the shops. We bought a nice glass globe lamp for our hallway and a large framed print of a leopard which the gallery wrapped very well for us as it had to withstand a journey back to Yorkshire. The walk back to the canal was therefore quite interesting ! Overall well worth a visit.”

“What a fantastic afternoon out this is – great selection of shops for home, gifts and clothes but mostly it was the service that stood out. Retail has been hit hard and good staff are hard to find, so excellent service really does stand out and make all the difference now. Wendy served me in a couple of the shops actually on separate occasions but in particular her style of encouragement and knowledge in the clothes shop without the hard sell was appreciated and well timed and frankly made the whole experience super positive. We need more Wendy’s and I LOVE Heart of the Shires, bring your family, bring your friends to vist and shop. Also BEEHIVE Gifts has the best selection of Jellycat teddies far and wide so a great trip out to reward a little one! I’ll be back everyone – that’s a promise!”
