“I love this shopping village! My most favourite haunt when I’m over from Australia! I can’t stay away from Abraxas! Love love love!!” Debbie Bray, Facebook
“The small number of shops are great, especially the kitchen store. Great Tea room.” Karl Pountney, Google
“Free parking & shops that are ‘different’ not your usual chains. Really liked the kitchen shop upstairs & the old fashioned sweetie shop.” Wendy Homeyard, Google
“While on a canalboat holiday we chose to stop for a short break. We had a short walk up from the canal. The village is delightfully quaint with a mix of shops ranging from a bridal shop, kitchenware and sweet shop to name but a few.” Dave Bass, TripAdvisor
“A good place to explore when it’s raining, which it was. The complex, which I guess was some repurposed farm buildings, would cater to most tastes. On the upper floor, there was a vast cooking equipment shop. On the main floor, an animal grooming establishment, a hairdressing salon, a specialist jams and chutney shop shared the space with several large rooms selling antique, vintage and newer items. We would certainly visit again.” David Lloyd, Tripadvisor
